Help bring my Jewish music to life

Just Love (V'ahavta)
I wrote this English interpretation of the V'ahavta by rewriting the translation in my own words until it felt personally meaningful. What I kept coming back to was one word: love. V'ahavta literally means "and you shall love."
The V'ahavta is known as the guidelines to living a good Jewish life — hanging a mezuzah, wearing tefillin, teaching your children. I wanted to simplify it down to what I believe is its heart: these are just ways of expressing love — for yourself, for others, for the Jewish tradition, and for everything beyond.
The melody is inspired by the traditional trope used when chanting the prayer. Right now, this song exists as a self-transcribed lead sheet. I'm hoping to raise funds to:
What your support makes possible:
- Hire someone to transcribe and compose a full piano arrangement
- Have the song professionally recorded, produced, mixed, and mastered
- Share it with audiences who will connect with it
Thank you for being part of this
This work is truly a labor of love and it doesn't happen without people who believe in it. Every contribution — large or small — helps me dedicate more time to creating music and resources that bring people closer to Jewish tradition, to each other, and to themselves.
I'd love to hear from you. Your ideas, feedback, and words of encouragement mean a lot.
